Details of all competitions are listed in the club diary, together with entry and withdrawal procedure and the requirement for members to input their scores on to the computer.

Entry to and withdrawal from competitions should be done using the BRS system. Competitions are closed down and handicaps adjusted typically within 24 hours of the competition ending with results and handicaps published on the “Master Scoreboard” web site.

To compete in a club competition, you must have a valid WHS handicap. New members will need to provide their WHS membership number so it can be transferred to NMGC.

Those new to or returning to golf and wishing to obtain a handicap should follow this process.

• Three cards must be submitted clearly marked “for handicap”
• At least one of these cards should have a gross score of less than 100
• All cards must be marked and signed by a member who has a valid handicap

Members are responsible for reporting “away” scores as soon as possible after the event and are always therefore responsible for their own handicap and be aware of their playing handicap.

The club professional can print off a copy of your handicap certificate if required.
